Hey guys, I'm struggling for room in the dattos engine bay to fit the z32 maf infront of the turbo with a decent amount of space between to prevent any afm issues that could occur. So should I put the afm in the intercooler piping after the turbo ? What are the pros and cons ? Cheers :)

u couldn't mount the afm with filter under the panel, ahead of the tire in the wheelwell (behind the splashguard of course) ?
Some sucessfully 'blowthru' z32 afm mounted in the cold pipe, a little bit before the throttle body. All had some tuning means tho iirc.
Hypergear powerful CA18 on ns.com blew the plastic body apart ~24psi. Mounting the actual sensor element onto a metal pipe would solve that I'd think.
Have u check the many datto installs ?

As Dash said, You can do it, but you need to be able to adjust the tune as I don't know if it will work the same. I would place it after the intercooler, with as much straight pipe before and after the MAFS as possible. The plastic housing doesn't seem to take a lot of boost either.
