That little air filter that runs around the B.P.T. is gone. It seems to still function, and wild guess here: I bet I can't get onewithout ordering a comlete B.P.T. valve, which I don't need. What could I use as a suitable replacement?

I took that crap out once when I was cleaning the BPT valve and never put it back in. My car runs fine without it I don't think you'll even need to replace it.

The air filtering in through the BPT valve eventually makes it's way into the intake and combustion chambers. OK, it's a very small amount, but unfiltered air is unfiltered air.Your choice.
