ill probablly get one just for the bling lol theyre only like 20 bux.

noticed in all the motor shots here havent seen anyone using one. i have a hole right where my air filter sits, i oversized my i/c piping on that side for air to get to the air filter. i guess this would help....

sheet metal is cheap at home depot...tin snips and a can of spraybomb does wonders for making a cold air box.

That piece isn't going to make crap of difference on a turbo-charged car. The air is going thru a 500* compressor housing. Reducing the intake air temp by a few degrees isn't going to change anything.

If you like the way it looks, then go for it.

Darius the ebay one isn't gonna do much.

But if you make a air box out of sheet aluminum and put that stick on heat shield you would def be good.

I can't remember exactly but from reading that Cory Bell book the higher the intake (to the turbo) temp the more dramatic the increase of the compressed temp would be.

i would say an air box w/ ducted tunnel for drawing air from outside helps a lot. but should focus more around the intercooler area and wrapping the cold pipe so it wont get heat soaked.
