Air escaping!?!?!

Hi! 1st post here. I don't know much about cars, but hopefully someone can help me out with this.

When I give the car gas, it sounds like "air escaping" from the MAYBE whatever this is called http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4Fxo3wLnJ0 my car had this problem a while back, but we took it to the muffler shop and they welded where the air was escaping.. n now it won't go away. IDK any help?

The 2.5L cars have an issue with the front exhaust tube leaking exhaust. Welds at the shield are known to break and cause a leak there. Might be what your problem is, but I would need more info to know for sure.

You hear the sound from the front of the car?
