well the a/c is pretty straightforward once you search for itand read about it. however 1/4 mile times are affected by so many variables that it's not even worth the time to explain all the possibilities. In lamen's terms...stock the SR is quick and has a ton of potential, tuned the SR can be a monster. It's all up to you, your bank account, and the time and perserverance you're willing to put into the car and engine :)

Tried the search option and nothing!!! So has anyone have any info in the AC wiring for the S14? I know Heavy throttle has the wiring for the S13 but not for the S14 yet.

If you have an S13, with an S13 SR20DET, use the SR20's compressor, or you can use a KA24DE compressor, there are four bolts, and only three will line up, but that's good enough. The KA24E, none of the bolts line up on the compressor.

As for S14's...... good luck. A friend of mine has an S14 with an S14 SR20, and they are STILL trying to get his AC working.

That is a perfect picture of the different compressors.

SR20DET | KA24DE | KA24E

The differences are very obvious.

It is my understanding it's not a big deal to get the AC working in the s14. This is according to Wayne at Phase2 and he will be setting mine up.

Are you putting an S13 or an S14 into yours? My friend who has an S14 SR20, phase2 did his, and his AC isn't working yet. I know they had to fab some stuff, but I don't know exactly what yet. I'm not into S14's, so I really don't know. If Wayne says he can do it though, I'd believe him.

Yes, I am doing a s14 SR into a 97 240. It is harder than hell to find a good s14 clip right now.

Wayne has been great. I must have talked to him for 2 hours over the phone in total over the last couple weeks. Once I find an engine my car is in his shop.

Yeah, I was pretty pleased with him when I met him. Plus I got to see a couple of SWEET Silvia conversions in their garage, one of them with the Apex turbo kit. Now I'm just waiting for my clip. I'm falling over myself with anticipation.

These cars here:http://www.phase2motortrend.com/stevaps ... s13ii.html

They are even nicer in person.
