When i push the AC button, the little green light doesnt turn on, the engine doesnt bogg, and i dont know how to tell if the AC compressor turns on or not.. what would you suggest i begin to look for to see whats wrong with my AC

look at the front of the compressor. the center should not be moving.then hit the button and look again, see if it is spinning, if not give it a light tap with a hammer and see if that does it, if it does, then the clutch needs "minor" adjustment

Well, after havening to change my belts, i was under the car, and decided to check it out, i turned my compressor on.. or.. tried to by pressing in the AC button, then, i tapped the compressor, (the blower was on 4(high) and nothing happend... i hit the compressor with a rubber mallet, to give it a good kick, and nothing happend... so i believe it may be a electrical probelm... im assuming there is a Relay, some fuses, and a bunch of other stuff that could be wrong, can someone maybe provide me with a "check list" of stuff to look for?

Check the fuses first. It could also be that you don't have any refrigerant in the system. I think that would be one reason the green light isn't on--not enough pressure to activate the dual pressure switch. I would check that next. Disconnect the pressure switch harness and see if the switch is closed. If it is, then something else is wrong. If it isn't then either your low on refregerant or the switch is bad or both.
