Hey all,

I have a 90' 240sx that !came with A/C. I did the redtop sr20 swap a few months ago, and lately its been getting HOT where I live! Can I use all of my KA24E A/C parts on my SR or will I run into problems? Will there be rrom with a greddy FMIC and large koyo radiator? Which should I install first? Has anyone Done this?!

You can use a KA-DE AC pump but it'll only mount up with 2 bolts out of 4... but youd have to find a dohc pump is all. Unsure about a SOHC pump. You might be able to have a shop bend/adapt your pignose piping to go to the SR pump, but who knows. I know with my DE im going to tie off my ac pump during install so as to not release the R12 and just torque the snot out of it when I mount it to the blacktop with 2 bolts. or figure out some custom bracket thing or something.

yea the DE a/c bracket is totally different than the one on an SR. The DE pump will bolt up to the SR bracket by 2 bolts... but again, you need the sr bracket.

Contact Jeff at 240sxmotoring.com, sometimes when he does installs he has his customers leave out all the A/C stuff. he might have a bracket kicking around however its not entirely likely...
