Hi all! Hoping there's a mechanic on this forum. I have a 2009 Nissan Rogue S - last year, AC worked just fine. It would almost freeze you out of the car! This year... it blows hot air. We attempted to charge the AC but the gauge indicated it was full and there was a mechanical issue. We checked fuses. Blower works fine and no weird smells or noises. Just isn't blowing cold air. Where do I need to check to see what the issue is?

a/c issues are the worst. you have plumbing, electrical, and mechanical all involved in one system. this is way to hard to diagnose via the internet.

is the clutch spinning and turning on & off intermittently? (it could be a bad clutch. it could be broken wiring. it could be a pressure sensor switch, etc).

i'd just head to a mechanic honestly.

Just FYI, last time when I tried to charge the AC myself, when the garage reach the bottom of full mark, its actually already overcharged. I have to let a lot of refrigerants out for my ac to start working again.

Raise the hood start your car and set the ac to max. Do the radiator fans come on? One or both should, if not that would be your problem.
