air conditioning in my 2000 nissan xterra no cold air

My 2000 nissan xterra A/C will turn on and blow out cold air for about a minute and then stop and blow out hot air ? HELP !

if the syst. cools good when a/c is on and than quit ,and than cools again ..if u have this symton your thermister is bad its located inside the evaporater box can be replace by removing the glove box and some srews to seperate the 2 part of the box and remove it with long needel nose plier.good luckkkkkkkkkkkkk
