Freeze 12 is 20% R-142b and 80% R134a

"The R-142B is put in as a mineral oil carrier, but with all that R-134a in the can, you still have to make the system compatible by changing the accumulator/receiver, adding a HPCO switch, and some really weird adaptors since it ain't R-134a, plus your system has to be 100% leak proof so that R-142b won't leak out first as R-134a and mineral oil is not a good mix that can ruin your compressor. But it's all legal.
There are only two homogeneous refrigerants approved and technically correct for MVAC, R-12 and R-134a, each requiring it's own unique oil, but accumulators today are compatible with both refrigerants, as a matter of fact so is BVA-100 Oil.
These other blended alternatives give the impression that a conversion is easy, when indeed they are more problems than they are worth. And I guess it's legal to lie in advertising or to misrepresent, but Freeze12 is SNAP approved, whatever that means. "
Wierd mixtures means always warn the AC shop as they may refuse to work on your system because it will ruin their equipment and contaminate their R12 or R134.
