i recently went to rotate my tires. they offered to do a courtesy check up. after the job was done my air conditioner stared malfunctioning. i know... one thing does not have to do with the other, but my air was fine before it. it has happen twice i turn on the air, the light turns on but nothing happens. the first time was at the store and i went back inside to tell them. by the time they went back to check it the air was fine, it turn on like always. today it happened again, i turn it on, left it on and about two minutes after it turn on. like nothing happened. what could it be?

Don't take courtesy check-ups from strangers? This seems odd. Did you ever figure out what happened?

I'm having the same issue. The compressor light is on and I know the compressor comes on. The blower just does not bow on any speed. Drive it a while and after a hard left turn it comes on. Other time its working fine. Stop at a store and come back out and restart and blower won't blow. If the blower was bad it would never come on. I'm thinking a lose wiring connection somewhere but don't know where. I am suspicious of the harness out of the fuse box under the hood. What I do know i that its very frustrating.

Hey again and thank you for signing up to share your experiences. Do either of you guys have the blower motor working on speed 4 perhaps, and not on speeds 1, 2 or 3? If so, look into blower motor resistor... If it's all four speeds, nothing works, then perhaps it's the relay in the fuse box by the driver's left knee, or even the fuse. Either way please let me know. I can dig deeper. The issue sounds like it's popping up in a few Versas and I'd like to get to the bottom of it for others to find the solution in the future. Thanks for any help.
