Hi there.. this is my first post, I tried doing a search to make sure I wasn't double posting, but couldn't come across anything.
So here's my issue....
My air conditioner is blowing hot air.. not even the slightest bit cold. We had someone check the pressure, and it seems ok. Just wondering what else might make it do that? I bought the car last June (2012) and I know it worked then, but now this summer it isn't.
Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks! :chuckle:

When you check the pressure, (or your friend) what does it read?
If it is "normal" on the scale (which is around 30-45psi), its actually overcharged for our car (from my experience)
The pressure should stay at around 20-25psi with compressor running.

The pressure is around 25psi, however he thinks that it may now be the compressor? There is power to the compressor (he was able to check it with a test light) but its like the compressor isn't "clicking on" i guess.. Time for a new compressor i guess :(

if the compressor isnt clicking on, it could be your pressure sensor, clutch, wiring, OR TOO LOW OF PRESSURE. add some r134a from a can, and see.
