Air Conditioner Problem

i have a 1992 240sx with 117 000 miles on it. before i put my car away for the winter the air conditioner was working great. after taking my car back out after about 6 months of sitting the air conditioner no longer works....the light for the AC doesnt come on and the revs dont rise. i realized after that you should run the air conditioner once in a while for lubrication but is this why it isnt working anymore? id like to find the problem and see how much it would to fix. thanks

If your freon leaked out the pressure sensor will prevent the system from turning on to protect the system from running with no fluid. Could also be a bad compressor, relay, temp sensor or pressure switch. You'll need to troubleshoot it some to narrow it down. Maybe there's self-diagnostics of the system? Don't know.
