I haven't replaced it yet because the weather is beautiful in San Diego. Hope this helps
it is out of warranteewhysocurious wrote:Shouldn't this be covered under warranty?
Yes I do. I got 38000 Miles. I just bought it and pimped it out for my daughter's grad present but I am having those issues. the car reads the outside temp just fine. but the ac doesn't cool because there is no signal for the compressor to start pumping.mmkeller wrote:You have over 36k miles already?
is this sensor the one for the outside temp? Cause the outside temp is working fine. if it isn't I would really appreciate the help to find it. I just dont know where to look for the problem. Do you know how many places it has with fuses and where they are located? There is one on the driver side under the dash and one under the hood. is there any other place?Ricko wrote:AC temp sens is in the engine bay. I think towards the front. I got an aftermarket bumper and my guess it wasn't secured properly and fell off.
does your car show the outside temperature on your digital read out? Maybe its another sensor that it has for the AC?Ricko wrote:Thats the one Nissan told me was missing for my AC to not work. Not sure why the outside temp out matter but that's what I was told. Like i said, I still haven't fixed it.
