I did mine and it's not directly behind the glovebox. That's what confused me and made me go "wtf" when I couldn't find it. You do need to remove the glovebox to get to it but it's behind the lower middle part of the dash. If you have the new filter in hand to look at, you'll know what to look for.

you may need pliers to pull the original out. Tt is in there tight.
