I have a '90 240sx with a KA24E and I have a cone filter I was wanting to use on it. I noticed the stock air box has an air charge sensor, and I was wandering if I replaced the box with the filter, what would I have to do with the sensor? Could I leave it off, or will I have to tap it into the intake pipe? Thanks for the help.

Just need to know if it can be removed or does it have to be relocated?

yes it is a air temp sensor plugged right into the side of the air box right before the MAF. I posted in the technical forum and posted pics in there.
