Im trying to tint the rear window myself for my J30, but they are little air bubbles on the side in the orginal factory tint!!

I don't know if i should remove the original tint first before I tint it? Any suggestions or experience removing the original factory tint in the Rear window? I'm scared i'll dmg the heating lines by removing it!

There is no stock tint on this car. That black grid is the heating element for the defrost.

You will just have to deal with the bubble or have it done preffesionally

Waitaminute..... besides posting this twice, you're considering putting tint over tint? O dear.Quote » Any suggestions or experience removing the original factory tint in the Rear window?[/quote]http://tintdude.com/

tint over tint is done all the time in custom cars you usally see it done with the windows that have flames cut in the tint or when you just want the window to be black as for removing the tint on the rear you should be very "VERY"carefull not to ruin the rear defroster strips as i tryied it my self and even with 2 days of doing just the rear i still damaged the defroster and now ony have half the defrosters working professionals usally dont even guarantee the removal
