Hey Everyone - I followed the instructions posted here and removed the air box in order to run the power wire for my amp. After removing the air box I noticed that there was a hose connected to something underneath the air box. I'm have no idea what is under the air box - it almost looks like the rear train of a car except that it's in the front end of a car. Hopefully someone who removed their airbox knows what I'm referring to. Now back to the hose I mentioned. One end of this hose went to this drive train looking thing, and the other end was held in place to the air box, however this end was pointing down and not connected to anything. Please see the picture below (I took this from RedVenom's original post - hope you don't mind) and you'll see the hose that I'm talking about. I don't think the other end of this hose is connected to anything, but unfortunately I can't be sure. Obviously I learned a valuable lesson here - to always take pictures for reference. Anyway - is this hose supposed to be connected to anything, or is it some sort of vent hose for whatever the drivetrain looking thing is. Thanks in advance.

If it's coming off the top of the transmission and shaped like a 'gooseneck', it's just a vent hose. Do not plug it with anything, it' supposed to be open to vent any pressure within the transmission.

Thanks Phil - I thought it was some sort of vent hose cause I couldn't really see any place that it would connect to.
