ok., so the yesterday i was cleaning the interior of my car... your ususal vaccuming and dusting off the dashboard... well anyways., later on in the day as i go out i notice that the air bag light is flashing, as i am driving... now i dont' know if they are related., or just some type of coinsidence that i was touching that area and now the light doesnt' turn off...
I once had the same problem happen previously, meaning that the aig bag light would flash.. i took it to the nissan dealer and they fixed it, free as it was still under warrenty...
well my question would be, what could be causing this problem, other then the sensor malfunctioning... could me cleaning the steering wheel have done anything to it?!? its not like i was really tampering with it.... has anyone else had similar problems? i'll end up taking it to the dealer again.. but i was just wondering... hopefully it'll still be under warrenty...

You really didn't cause that light to go on, its something else. How long ago did the light go on the last time? Argue with the dealer that you think they f**ked up. They probably couldn't find the problem and simply cleared the code...This happened twice to my mother's Sentra, and the third time she went in pissed and they simply replaced sensors and wiring (like they should have done in the first place).

Yeah! I was in my wreck that destoryed my '89 I didn't have my seatlbelt on cause the stupid automatic things broke. My face smashed right into the top of the steering wheel and broke it :evilhaha Thought I broke my nose but all it did was bruise my face. It hit perfectly between the corner of my eye and my nose. My 95 has two of them now, helps the insurance
For your question, it could be quincidence that the srs detected something after you got through cleaning. There's a process to read the code to see what it is, if you don't have a way to find it I'll get it from my fsm for you.
