The wife and I went shopping one night and the next morning I was going to go to work and the air bag light was on. Is there a bigger problem? How can I clear it. Didn't bump anything ,didn't deploy. Stumped. Thanks for reading

Which airbag light? Was something somewhat heavy but not REALLY heavy in the passenger seat? The light will come on when say a 20lb object is on the passenger seat...because the car thinks it might be a child or something and doesn't want to trigger that bag. Happens all the time to me when I have a heavy backpack with me (like when I was doing night school).

ahh. If I remember right my lunch was really heavy that day ,a couple waters and a Gatorade ,plus the food and I took some "government" work with. I set it all on the passenger seat. Can I reset this? I get a warning on my screen and the light on the dash ,it is saying passenger side.

Try unplugging the car battery for 1 minute, it should reset it.
