Yesterday, I spent 8 hrs cleaning and detailing my 2000 max. I went as far as removing front seats and center console to clean the interior. Now my problem is this. When I put the seats back in and connected the power seats, heat and the srs side air bags, I ran into a problem. My airbag dash sensor keeps blinking. I disconnected the battery for 15 minutes and reconnected only to still hag the problem. Can anyone give me a heads up on what to do to fix the problem?

Wow am I to assume no one can offer a solution? Have I stumped people with this one?

Have you taken the code to Autozone (or a similar place) to have them check for codes?

Autozone probably won't be able to pull airbag codes, just like they can't pull ABS codes....

Some searching found this:

Note: Timing is KEY, use a stopwatch if you have to.

1) Turn IGNITION on (but don't start car) 2) After the AIRBAG warning lamp lights for 7 seconds and then goes out, turn IGNITION off within 1 second. 3) Wait 4 seconds 4) Turn IGNITION on (but don't start car) 5) After the AIRBAG warning lamp lights for 7 seconds and then goes out, turn IGNITION off within 1 second. 6) Wait 4 seconds 7) Turn IGNITION on (but don't start car) 8) After the AIRBAG warning lamp lights for 7 seconds and then goes out, turn IGNITION off within 1 second. 9) Wait 4 seconds 10) Turn IGNITION on (but don't start car) 11) Wait 3 seconds 12) Turn IGNITION off 13) Wait 2 seconds 14) START Car15) Turn IGNITION off16) Wait 2 seconds17) START Car

AIRBAG warning lamp should blink for 7 seconds and then go out and never come back on. If it does, then you have a problem.
