Has anyone gotten the recall for the air bag/seat belt connection problem? It was supposed to start around the middle of April and I for one haven't heard anything.

I think mine may be one, never had problems until recently the light has started to act strangely.

I brought this up a couple months ago as well. It's been slowly getting more noticeable, so I'd be interested if anyone hears anything.

my light seems erratic.. I'm not even sure when it's supposed to be on... and when its supposed to be off!

on a side note, I noticed my airbag cover sticking up today.. I'm wondering if its heat related... heat radiating on the area through the windshield causing something to expand and makeing it pop out.

All Versa HB owners will be receiving notification in the mail next month in regards to the recall for the seatbelt tensioner connector, which is causing the air bag light to come on. I work at a dealership and we've already performed the campaign on our stock units.

Does this issue affect Canadian Versa's as well?

All of our TSB's come from within inside a nissan network only accessible to employees unfortunately . The Recall will be dubbed R119 and yes it does affect Canadian as well. You will recieve notification mid june

Thanks for the info.

Sucks that consumers can't just look up the TSB's themselves...

You can get the TSB's and recall info as well as detailed repair information (step by step diagnostics repairs etc...) and OBD codes, the meaning of the codes and what to do about them if you subscribe to Mitchell on Demand or All Data. These are both available online and if you are a do it yourselfer I highly recommend it. http://www.ondemand5.com/ http://www.alldata.com/ It is not free but you may find some friends who could share the cost.
