air bag light

Car: 2010 Nissan Xterra

So I installed a new stereo in my 2010 Xterra I unplugged the air bag sensor on the passenger seat to remove it.
Now the light for that airbag reads it as disabled and stays on.
How can I fix this without going to the nissan dealership and going broke?

I seem to remember a writeup being done about this issue. I'll see if I can find it.
