Similar thing happened to me years ago. Light went on when I installed a new racing seat. I disconnected the wiring harness under the seat and the sensor at the seatbelt. Reconnecting them reset the light and it went off.

You could try to check if there are any disconnected wires and/or sensor and reconnect them.

I don't know if you would want to disconnect modules... hopefully the remaining air bags will still work even though the curtain ones have been removed?

I would think in terms of removing the bulb from the instrument cluster if you remove anything.

You should post pics of your limo... we would love to see it!

the airbag system will not work at all if the light is on or flashing. even if you remove the airbag module the light will still be on because the cluster communicates with the airbag via can. you can remove the bulb if it is not an led light that is part of the circuit board in the cluster. you may be sol. you could try to get a test resistor and install in the circuit of the missing airbags and clear the codes

I would say you may have to deal with this issue, removing the airbag module is not recommended and altering the circuit is extremely dangerous and not recommended in any situation. If you do not match the exact circuit you risk setting off the airbags in the car at any point. That is just dangerous.

Tampering or altering this circuit in any way is a bad idea and I do not know anyone who would actually do something like that as the personal liability for that would not be worth any amount of money to me or anyone I work with.

EDIT- +1 for pics

You can view my Limousine at. ......www.Badgerstatelimo.com Just click on the little pix and you can see it as I drove it across country. Picked it up in Vegas and drove through Utah,,,Colorado,,,,Nebraska,,,,,,,Iowa,,,,and into Wisconsin. She rides like a dream and holds up to 8 or 10 passengers depending on the size of the customer. If you can copy them off the site or give me your email and I will send you more pixs. AJD

Thanks for the picture post's you really are "The Tech" now if I could just get this darn Airbag light off. I had paid some guy $15.00 for advice about what I could do to fix this. He said take the dash apart and cut the wire leading to the light?????What wire it's a computer board. I have come to the conclusion that I will just have to live with this blinking light. It doesn't make this Limousine a bad choice for purchase, because she really GOES!!You just have to love the way it sounds just starting it up....She sure has quite a growl. My Speedo goes up to 160 mph. While I was traveling through the desert I had this Limousine up to 100mph. and there was plenty of pedal to go. By far the fastest Limousine I have ever owned, It even beats out my old 1988 Mercedes 500 Limousine which I thought was the fastest Limousine ever. The Boy's over at Infiniti knew what they were doing when they created this beast 4 sure.
