Air Bag light flashing in 97 Pathfinder

I installed an aftermarket stereo and the air bag light wont stop blinking. I found a few threads that fixed this on 2002 and newer nissans but nothing on 97. I tried the driver door button procedure with no results as well as the ignition trick. Nothing. Please help if you know anything about this. Thanks!
