air bag light blinking?

I have a 97 and my air bag light blinks.. when you pull the fuse it stays lit...maybe the control unit?

I too have this problem on my 95 240. Is there anyway to fix it w/o going to the dealership? I don't want to pay $85 for the diagnostic.

Same here. I just bought a 95 and the same thing is happening. I know mine had a front end collision so the air bag sensor is probably gone.

I'll look it up at my shop on monday but you can clear the codes with the left door light switch (yes i'm not crazy) that is how nissan set it up. If you have a failure however the light will return. On my 95 it was involved in a light front end hit and even though the air bag did not go off it set the light. After i reset the code the light stayed off.
