air bag light blinking (2003 Infiniti M45)

i tried a search but not much came back, yesterday the air bag and restraint warning light started blinking and i am getting a warning note on startup. Has anybody had to deal with the dealer on this issue? will i have to pay if I am over my factory bumper to bumper?

Just happened to my 03 a few weeks back. They had to replace the sensor in my door and center cousel. It would have been around 600 the dealer said if I was outta warranty. Call the dealer up and find out...i don't know if airbags are under the 4 year or 6 year warranty.

i had the same problem. My understanding is that if it is a solid light it means a bad sensor or actual airbag deployment. But a blinking is bad wiring or low battery charge.

I charged my batteries and the light went away. You can also try the many other methods out there. Like the door button on/off method.
