2004 G35 : The air bag light started blinking. Nav system says to take it to a dealer. Anyone know how to reset

Have you tried taking the car to Autozone or some place like that and get them to read the code? They usually will do it for free.

Try resetting the AIRBAG sensors.

1) Turn IGNITION on (but don't start car)2) After the AIR BAG warning lamp lights for 7 seconds, turn IGNITION off within 1 second.3) Wait 4 seconds4) Turn IGNITION on (but don't start car)5) After the AIR BAG warning lamp lights for 7 seconds, turn IGNITION off within 1 second.6) Wait 4 seconds7) Turn IGNITION on (but don't start car)8) After the AIR BAG warning lamp lights for 7 seconds, turn IGNITION off within 1 second.9) Wait 4 seconds10) Turn IGNITION on (but don't start car)11) Wait 3 seconds12) Turn IGNITION off13) Wait 2 seconds14) START Car (the light may be blinking slower than before)15) Wait 3 seconds16) Turn IGNITION off17) Wait 3 seconds18) START Car

I had the same problem back in September 2007 at 38.5k miles

The dealer had to replace a defective drivers side air bag control module under warranty.

If the air bag light is blinking you have no air bag in case of collision.
