I just bought a J30 and I cannot find in the owners manual or service manual how to aim the headlights. I can't even tell by looking at them. I have never had projectors before. Please inform. I just need to bring the drivers side one up a bit

Thanks, -Robert Cole 1993 Infiniti J30

check out page 7-21 in the owners manual. It has a couple of pics and instructions on how to aim them. There are two screw that you turn to get the levels level. Got any pics of the J?

The J30's projector lenses are different to be sure. They focus the light to a point that optimizes your reaction time. As a result, it may appear to you that there isn't enough light immediately in front of the car. Anything that pops up in that area is too late to avoid in any event. The light that would be lost around the front is focused into the reaction zone.

Sometimes this can be disconcerting especially at night in moderate to heavy rain. Curbs or lane markers are not as noticable. Don't be afraid to considerately use your brights. People don't use them enough. The J30's projector high beams are amazing!
