AIM Virus

Ok..I'm Chrisdjfisf on AIM. I got sent a link from a friend that i just got done hanging out with not too long ago and took pics with, so i clicked on it thinking it was legit. It was a damn virus.

I have all of you KA-T guys on my buddy list, so any of you on at the time, I assume got an IM from me asking you to click on a link for pics and wondering if I should put them on myspace or facebook.

Don't click it - it's a virus.

If you did click on it, however, google AIMFIX, download it and run it, it will remove the virus. (thx hobo doom pants )

Sorry for the hassle, I normally know these things but since it was ironically sent by a person i've hung out with recently I took the bait.

i first got this over a year ago and spread it to a number of people on here, i did the same thing in creating a thread and within hours there was like 6 more threads, the ultimate repost show

with this one i was like, "i dont know who this is, but if i close the message and hes wondering why im not talking he can talk again"

the one i got last year that was similar but this one mentioned facebook and stuff so i wasnt sure, just as long as you see where it says "run file," thats the sign i remembered, dont do that youll be ok

lol yeah, I'll check next time if it happens and just not assume...every other one i've gotten it from was someone i didn't know, so i just ignored it. this time i took the bait hook line and sinker
