AIM on mobile phone

SUCKS BALLS. I have a Samsung t509, and after signing off on my phone, i proceeded to use AIM on my pc. After a couple of hours, I checked the amount of text messages remaining, and it read that I had gone over by 250 messages! After a call to T-mobile, they told me that the AIM service had continued to send messages to my phone after I signed off, which I did not know about b/c i was signed off. Long story short, I had to upgrade my text messsaging plan for this month. Hopefully everything will work out, and if not, I'm going to have to use other means of persuasion.

Cliff Notes: I used AIM on my phone and got ****ed in the ***.

Get a treo, then buy a instant messenger program..works great!

Unfortunately there arn't any programs(that I know of) that actually use the GPRS instead of your texts over GSM.

So they all count against your text message "stash".

Unfortunately I pay for the internet, albeit the $6 with settings hacked for full access, and I still have to pay extra for the text messages.

If you don't mind the hassle you can use the Opera Mobile browser and open up a spare window and use AIM express over the internet, but it's annoying.
