Guess they have been on 2 monhts now... I enjoy them a whole lot.... havnt gone to any event or track days yet but theyre pretty adjustable.... i think they were worth the money.....

I can understand fully how Phase 2 and Xat got confused. Every SR I have dealt with (S13s) have used this style of TPS. It makes sense that for the blacktop run, Nissan used the S14 TPS. They already were producing them, and it would be cheaper to produce just one, than to produce 2 different TPS and throttle bodies (since apparently the two TPSes mount differently).

And just a side note. KA and SR TPSes are the same. You can order them from Nissan directly if you want, and being that you're using an S14 TPS, you should still be able to get that part through them. S13s I wouldn't be surprised if you couldn't or got backordered.

I guess I missed this thread, heres more specific info. If you have a 1991-1996 S13 SR20DET then you can get the USDM B13 Sentra TPS. If you actually have a kouki S13 SR20DET made between 1997-1998 then you have to get a B14 Sentra TPS. The S14 SR20DET TPS will work if it came off of the kouki S14 SR20DET made between 1997-1998. And the S15 SR20DET TPS is the same too.

The B14 Sentra one that fits should be from a 1998+ Sentra. Before the newest body style.

Also the 1995 Maxima MT and Infiniti I30 will also have the same TPS.

Make sure you buy a manual transmission TPS.

6 wire TPS's are for automatic trannys. They control the auto kickdown switch and such. These can be used on manuals if they are rewired.

You can use a Sentra TPS off of a B13 with an SR if you have a 1991-1996 S13 SR20DET. If it has two connectors, then it probably has 6 pins which makes it an automatic TPS.

The kouki S13 SR TPS should look like the sensor is internal. I actually have one sitting in my garage on a bench right now (my roomates engine is being overhauled). I can take a pic later if you want.
