With all the recent talk of racing lately I got curious. I listen to all types of music, and there was a thread a while back about what type of music you listen to when in your G. However, there is some music that just seems like it makes perfect "racing music." What I want to know is what are y'all's opinions on race music. What do you prefer, if you do at all, to listen to when racing? I will start off by naming a few songs. Snot - Joyride, Mirwais - Disco Science(Snatch soundtrack), Prodigy - Voodoo People... give me some ideas, I am going to compile a disc of pure fast paced, adrenaline pumping racing music.

Ac/Dc - It's a long way to the top (if you want to rock n roll)

Metallica - Shortest Straw, Blackened

Those songs always make me want to drive fast!

rage against the machine always gets me pumped and speeding more than usual hah. when i saw them live it was pretty insane (i got maced towards the end of the show) and so listening to ratm i get that same feeling again

I like hearing the sound of the car when I'm racing. But if I had to listen to music I would say slipknot or some fast techno.

Im a fan of System of a Down or Disturbed while im driving infact i have a whole playlist i like to call Road Rage. It feeds my anger of truck drivers in the slow lane, Dodlers and flying rocks.

I usually listen to some Mozart serenades or Beethoven sonatas, especially on the highway.

However, when i'm in the mood for some serious driving i listen to "Smack my ***** Up" by Prodigy or some Black Flaggg classis with good ole Henry Rollins . . . like, "Drink . . . Drink . . . . Drink . . . Don't Think . . . Drive . . . Kill . . . "

I just have all the tracks from Grand Turismo 3 and 4 on my IPOD and imagine I'm haulin *** on Laguna Seca or Nuerburgring :P haha

But for real tho....Prodigy rocks! Also Chemical Brothers gets me going.....and can't forget Techno/trance ftw!

I always listen to Metallica KILL THEM ALL, Pantera Vulgar Display of Power or Chevelle's 15 track import CD.

Then at the track nothing.

On the way home either the classical station or hip hop. In traffic, hip hop or R&B.

lol all you guys listen to when going fast is pretty much fast paced music, but try slowing things down a bit and then you'll truly see how fast you are going then, eh?

I mean i listen to all that stuff too, but there is just something about Jazz that makes my foot heavy...
