the macco in kent has excellent painters, everyone goes to them, their the only macco i know of that takes pride in their work, they got that thing where you can get it painted for 400 right now, so im going to go do that, i mean its crazy, i just a RHD car and a sr20det, and paint that looks like garbage, id rather get it professionally painted gunmetal rather then dupli color spray cans, i was planning on it anyways but i just wanted to spray it and see what it looked like.... that turned out greatFolkertSX wrote: maaco is not going to do a great job either. they painted my brothers bumper and i can honestly say it looked like s***.
LOL I give you 10 points for trying it. I've been debating what I'm going to do with mines.danield319 wrote:

well thats good they take pride in their work. the one by me sure doesnt. so lets say they do make it look good. but how can they do a whole paint job for $400. i mean really that just seems unrealistic. i spent that much on paint. and trust me i didnt even get that much of high quality paint. ive read alot that macco jobs dont stay looking good for even a couple years. idk just putting that out there. if you want to thats fine, but doing it yourself has alot of benefitsdanield319 wrote:

thanks i do need to align everything, i just put it all together quick so that my parents would stop complaining, well i found out i have some sort of reaction to break cleaner, a little bit of paint got on the window so i took some break cleaner and shot it in a rag and went to wipe off the paint but i accidently leaned in to close and breathed it all in and i passed out face forward into the gravel, my neighbors eventually found me and woke me up. should have worn a mask, because now i have to go to tommarows party looking like the terminator when he got half his face blown offTsukiko wrote:You should spend some extra time fitting your side skirts.
Otherwise, good job going for it right off the bat. Widebody RHD SR is pretty leet for a 16 year old. Good luck, and take your time.
