Don't feel bad. s*** like that has happened to me too.

Painting a car with REAL paint and a REAL gun is not easy stuff. Especially with all the hardener, reducer, etc.....

But look on the bright side. You can always sand it down and start over. At least you can say you tried.

What ever you f*** up, can be fixed. So don't worry about it.

There's a lot more to painting a car than what alot of people think. Let somebody who knows a thing or two about it, do it for ya.

Sometimes you have to learn the hard way, but I'm sure you wouldn't let it happen again. Learn from it and make it right the next time around.

Give it another shot, that way when you need to repaint the car again you'll know what to expect. GL.

^haha i am too dont worry about it. yea that happened to me too when i was painting my car. only on one of the head light covers which was really pissing me off. i saw it and was like "wth is that!" then 10 min later it spread through out the whole thing! so i sanded it, cleaned it, and it happened again! finally i just went down to bare metal. then on the piece under the tailights it did these weird divits, like half circle holes in the ground. and they kept coming back so i just gave up and left it.

anyway though, maaco is not going to do a great job either. they painted my brothers bumper and i can honestly say it looked like s***. just keep practicing and do it yourself. theres nothing like the experience of doing it yourself and learning as you go. plus you'll save over $700!

the macco in kent has excellent painters, everyone goes to them, their the only macco i know of that takes pride in their work, they got that thing where you can get it painted for 400 right now, so im going to go do that, i mean its crazy, i just a RHD car and a sr20det, and paint that looks like garbage, id rather get it professionally painted gunmetal rather then dupli color spray cans, i was planning on it anyways but i just wanted to spray it and see what it looked like.... that turned out great

well thats good they take pride in their work. the one by me sure doesnt. so lets say they do make it look good. but how can they do a whole paint job for $400. i mean really that just seems unrealistic. i spent that much on paint. and trust me i didnt even get that much of high quality paint. ive read alot that macco jobs dont stay looking good for even a couple years. idk just putting that out there. if you want to thats fine, but doing it yourself has alot of benefits

You should spend some extra time fitting your side skirts.

Otherwise, good job going for it right off the bat. Widebody RHD SR is pretty leet for a 16 year old. Good luck, and take your time.

thanks i do need to align everything, i just put it all together quick so that my parents would stop complaining, well i found out i have some sort of reaction to break cleaner, a little bit of paint got on the window so i took some break cleaner and shot it in a rag and went to wipe off the paint but i accidently leaned in to close and breathed it all in and i passed out face forward into the gravel, my neighbors eventually found me and woke me up. should have worn a mask, because now i have to go to tommarows party looking like the terminator when he got half his face blown off

F***ing epic.

It would have been cool had you not been chloroformed by brake cleaner.
