anyone live close to southern illinois or know anyone who knows their ****? Its really hard for me to get this swap done by myself as im very confused(first time doing this after all). The guy that was helping me obviously did not know what he was doing. I am about to tear into this again and i wish i had some help.. i hear some great stories about guys getting it done in like 6 hours and stuff while its taking me months... ahhh i know it sounds like im bitching cause i am its just frustrating when you put your money into this and you just wanna drive

What seems to the problem? Other than the wiring, you pull one motor out, put another one in.

I've been at it for almost 18 months now, in great part to a) f'ing up my crank and b) planning my marriage. It blows but its what you go through if you haven't done this sort of work before (which I haven't) and there's no one to stop you from doing something stupid -while- you're doing it (which there isn't). No one around here has indicated they're from the South Jersey/Philly area so I plod along on my own. I try to remind myself I'm learning a lot.
