hiya, i posted in the KA section but i was told that i should also post in here.

okay i bought a new battery today, and since i was having issues with the old one, i decided to take a ride over to autozone. i had them test the battery and the alternator, the battery tested fine and the alternator tested fine, but the battery was slowly losing voltage, and the alternator read at -11 volts. the autozone guy said i was just running the car on the battery, and by the time i got home the car died and didnt start anymore, have no idea why.any help would be appreciated

Has any of your caution lights come on in the dash display? Those KA's are known to have alternator problems...

you sure the alternator is working, if you just tested the alternater output with a multi meter or somthing with the battery connected, it would read your batery's voltage, and besides, the alternator is supposed to put out ~14V
