LOL... talk about impatience...

What cars do E60 MAF come from? Ive never wired it my self but you can check FSM to see the wiring for MAF and connect it to your SR harness accordingly.

Do you have something to compensate for the E60 MAF you are using?

You need an SAFC to translate the signal to your SR ECU....Goes like this:6 In 6 out=SR or Ka MAFS2 In 6 out=Z32 turbo (N62) MAFS4 In 6 Out=Z32 NA (N60) MAFS <----I believe this the right setting to get it running right. Anyway, your ECU won't read the voltage from any other MAFS without something to "translate" the signal into what the ECU understands.

yeah what he said.. what are you using to compensate for different MAF than what the ECU was designed for?

AFC or re-tuned ECU?

you will need something to translate the signal from the maf like these guys have stated, but (correct me if Im wrong) wont you need a fuel rail as well if you are going top feed. If the injectors you have are high impedance then you wont have to worry about a resistor. Good luck.

yes the injectors came with a fuel rail.now getting back to the maf needing a translator.I decided to go with a 300zx MAF will I still need a translator? And do you mean a safc2? The guy that sold it to me said I would need a resistor. They are denso 550cc.not sure myself just going on what he said.Ill check the ohms on the injectors.correct me but I read some where that if they read 2-4 ohms thet are low and I assume anything above that would be highs.Im I on the right track?/Spotteddawg

LOW RESISTANCE - 2.5 / 3 "peak and hold injectors"

HIGH RESISTANCE Approx. 12 - 16 OHMS "saturated injectors"

I Just came from the Honda world where it is required to used an injector resistor box for any type of low resistance injectors. Seems like the same would apply here, depending on what type are the stock injectors.

well then wonder if the prelude box would work?I have built a turbo honda once and I remember having to get the Prelude box for the 450 DSM injectors.would you know? Thanks Spotteddawg

you will need some sort of device or chip to run that maf and those injectors, so yes a safc2 or something like that. You will need either a piggyback or some sort of ecu tune, keep in mind these are not the only ways but they are the quickest and cheapest.

Thanks for the info. The way some where talking it seemed as though things were changed out and they were plug and play. But now I guess the authors of the posts assumed everyone knew about the piggybacks and chip mods.It must be common knowledge around here and now it is for me..Thanks Spotteddawg

Just checked all the injectors and the OHMS reading went as followed; all but one checked in at 2.5ohms and the fourth checked to be 0.8 ohms is the forth one bad?
