So I installed my KYB AGX shocks and Eibach sportline springs yesterday. Damn, took almost six hours. But it was well worth not spending the $300 to have someone else put them on. Plus, I learned a lot during the whole process. I just wanna say thanks to Fiznat for his excellent writeup/sticky of his installation. It really helped out when I got stuck a few times! And it gave me just a better idea of what I was getting into. As for looks and handling. D@mn!! These things are great. I got em' all on. Changed my oil with some Mobil 1 synthetic and went out for a test drive. Instantly I could tell the difference in cornering speeds. Say goodbye to that stock body roll I've grown so accustomed to! I had the shocks set on 2 front 4 rear. Pretty damn good ride quality. Not quite as cushy as stock. But that doesn't really bother me. Today I decided to turn the shocks up to 4 front, 8 rear. Way stiffer ride, but d@mn! Even better handling. Like I'm on rails. Woot! As for height, it looks like the car is about an inch lower. I'm sure it'll settle after a month or two. All in all, I'm very happy with these products. I guess I'll just see how they treat me after a few weeks. Also, what does everyone else with this settup keep there AGX shocks adjusted at for daily driving?Oh, and I updated my cardomain page too.
