im going to be running AGX with tein s-tech, and i was wondering if its true that ull get longer life running them on the stiffest setting? im just confused because i also heard u run them on soft to make them last long, and not to run them on stiff untell after 500 miles. i just dont want these things to leak/blow out on me anytime soon. any info on this guys?

^Have you driven it on crappy bumpy roads too or just autox?

I run 3/4, 6/8 now, i used to run 2/4, 4/8, but couldnt handle the crappy bounciness that happens with progressive springs. Even at one point in time I Ran 2/4, 3/8, it was bouncy from the start when it was installed, but as I made it stiffer the bounciness disapeared, I run s-tech and kyb agx. I don't want to run 4/4, 8/8 as im afraid that might blow or something lol.

I run 3/4 fronts and 8/8 backs and haven't had any problems. They have been on w/ Tein S-tech springs for about a year and a half now.

Oh, and most of the roads here are terrible. You shouldn't have any problem.

Before swithing to coilovers, I ran the AGX with Intrax springs. 3 up front and 4 out back. Once in a while I would go up to 6 out back for spirited running. Over all tho the 3/4 setting was comfortable, firm enough, and maintained good ride quality for dd. Keep in mind the city cant find enough streets to tear apart in town so driving is an adventure sometimes. And that is why I still have my Bronco.

any damper will blow and leak oil if it is lowered out of its operating range. tein stech springs will work fine with AGX dampers at any setting. for daily driving you will want them on the softer side though. at least I did. don't be afraid to turn up the stiffness if you feel like it. it's not going to harm it like running exessivly low springs will.

I ran with my AGX's on 4 & 8 for a coupla weeks on some 98 SE springs that had ~ 55k on them and i have had no problem since or then (except for the harshness) So no don't worry - except like everybody said Don't dump it with e-bay slinky's

Well I bought my s-tech springs from ebay does that count lol jk.

I run them still at 3/4, 6/8

I am just wondering, how can we know if they'll leak when in fact they are not oil based, they are gas charged...am i not wrong? Oil ones would leak oil, gas charged would... not leak oil and just leak gas?... I don't know...

I would try the 4/4, 8/8 but i dun see the point right now.. maybe if i seam weld my chassis and do a cage, and have strut braces then maybe heh.. and swaybars... Too stiff and something without the above will just make something kaboom lol.
