I just installed my AGX's and for street use i'm probobly gonna go with 2/4, what do you guys ususally go with? and for track i'm probobly gonna go with stiffest settings all around ,4/8. but what about drifitng? what would you guys go with?, i was thinking something like 3/8.

I used to have AGXs and I daily drove on 3/6.....when I went to Drift Day I set it to 4/6, but you should probably pump up the rear stiffness. :)

how comftorable were they at 3/6 for daily driving, i have a lot of pot holes over here so that might be too harsh of a ride.

I guess I'm kinda biased, since I've had two sets of coilovers already and the AGXs make my car drive like a Cadillac. But I didn't notice harshness at all at 3/6....lowest I would run is 2/4 though if anything, you don't wanna blow out your shocks. :)

1 front and 8 rear would be best for drifting

im getting some AGXs for christmas (i hope at least) and im gonna do real soft up front and stiff in the back, with pro-kit springs. I'l let you know how it works out. the pro-kits supposedly dont add much spring rate to the front, but do add to the back. Getting AGXs and pro-kit springs would make a very merry christmas

by setting the rear much harder than the front it will create oversteer which is what drifting is ...... the rear tires are forced to work alot harder and they will loose traction faster ....

here's a picture to prove my point ... better yet several

that's what makes drifting easier ..... most of that drifting is throttle induced though

turn a corner and stand on the gas ... then counter steer to hold the slide .... it takes alot of practice ... find a big parking lot

find a large PRIVATE lot, with no one in it. Police will usually just tell you to quit, because technically its private property and up to the land owner if they want to press any charges(wont stop the cops from writing tickets if they're ***holes though)-chet

set the rear as stiff as possible, run the tire pressures about 5psi higher in the rear....good to go.

so the worst i can get is a ticket?

yea its suppose to snow a little today so i'm gonna try to find some good spots. What about parking lots that like big trucking companies own, because i know where a few of those are, those are private right? and there in a good spot, not anywhere near busy roads so i'm gonna check them out tonight.

theres no telling wat they will do as each person in the world is different......................... u have two options with that: do it or dont... but in all my experience with those areas...theyre the best place to tear up a car......

well today i found this one nice wide turn in a industrial area, and i tried about 5 slides, using the clutch kicking technique, i guess it was decsent for my first time, except my ending was a little rough. but practice makes perfect, a lot of practice. lol
