I just picked up a brand spanking new one in trade for my 35R. Anyone familiar with these journal bearing turbos? I know the SRT4 guys love em, but having trouble finding other vehicles with them.

Here's some of the info....

"This is the very popular and proven AGP specific turbocharger. After years of perfecting wheel combinations, AGP now offers a quick spooling, excellent performing 48lb/min turbo in a variety of flavors. Designed and built by AGP, this turbo is the way to go with your 4 or 6 cyl engine with power goals up to 480 horsepower.

Compressor Specs:- Polished AGP Cast T04E housing 3" inlet 2" outlet- AGP Special Sauce compressor wheel 48lb/min"

It currently has a .48 turbine housing, I will be changing this to a .63 so its more suited for the RB25DET application.

I plan on running with this turbo with 740cc injectors, FMIC, and PFC.

there's website, compturbo.com, they make pretty good turbos. Even triple ball bearing for even faster spool.

Sullivan i have the same turbo for my built sr20det, i have 272 bc cams and supertech 1mm oversize valves and wanted to know if this turbo can get me near the 450whp mark? my head will be ported and polished with the following componets and bc valve springs and retainers, also with isis intake manifold port matched and a peak boost top mount manifold port matched...i wanted to know also will these cams help this turbo preform without dropping out or power band before 7500 rpms...? i have the .63 a/r as well.
