Sorry to take a while to get back, but I have been on holiday's.

Status of the transmission is as follows:-

1990 rebuilt level 10 transmission is sitting in the workshop ready to go in as soon as I get the Torque Converter sorted out.

Level 10 have come to the party and are doing the right thing by me. They are building a custom Billet Torque Converter. For some reason (unknown even to leve 10) the Right hand Q45 (Australian & Japanese) has a larger Torque Converter with a higher deck height. Apparently the face plate is different, but I don't know why.

I have sent level 10 my OEM Torque Converter so that they can match the measurements.

The Torque Converter is due for completion a the end of this month. I shall keep my fingers crossed.

I went with the JWT Trimode because the Level 10 'Plug & Play' was 'in development' and I assume it still is.

When next have correspondence with Level 10, I will let you know. They don't appear to be in any hurry to build the computer upgrade.

Level 10 shiftronic is now available for the Q45.Takes 3 days to build.

It only allows you to change the gears manually.

My understanding of the Shifttronic is the same as you have outlined. The only issue I have is the ability to switch between the Level 10 manual shift and the JWT automatic program.

I am looking to sort this out and will get back to you.
