Hello. My name is Asif Badar. I am interested in purchasing the wide body kit on your racing modified 180sx. I would like to put that body kit on my 240sx. Is that body kit still in production? If it isn't, why? It's one of the best body kits ever made. Is there anyone or anywhere or any way that I can stillpurchase that body kit? There are many people who would like to purchase it. I speak on the bahald of approzimately 15 people. Please respond.

Thanks for your access.

The body kit you saw on our HP was made on 2001, quite original item of us.

The comcept of that body kit was " a product that is luxurious, and not formass-prodused item"

Every part of the item is complexed and you need more careful process;therefore, said unusual.

We're very sorry that also were not able to produce the item becuase ofcosts for mass production.

In additions, We currently work for GT racing, and too busy to have theprocess for mass products.

If you know somebody who is good at those cars, why don't you ask him tomake similar item.

Thanks for your e-mailing,

AGASTHIA 2003/5/19

THAT WAS THEIR RESPNSE. :-\

E-mail from Thursday 4/10/03 4:39pm from jspec.com in response to my request for a quote on the agasthiya wide body kit: ( I WILL FORWARD IF YOU LIST YOUR E-MAIL ADDY)

the red/black 180sx wide body kit was quoted $4,400.abroad wide fenders are $700 a pair.thank you,

sam .

So this is where we currently are . .the vendor doesn't make it any more and doesn't plan to in the future. jspec quoted me 4400 . .but is that just a mistake? All I know is that body kit rocks. The last option would be to find a custom body kit maker and have them prototype the agasthiya kit... but that would cost me my left testicle.

havent seen this kit, do u have any pics?i figure the best way is to get it custom made, but don't they usually need a mold to make a copy off, a friend of mine had to do this when he wanted a japense kit for his mkIII supra

either way good luck!

Well, your entitled to your opinion, but I can say with much confidence that about 90% of 240 owners will tell you . . this is one bad *** kit. It's one of the hottest, if not THE hottest body kit for the 240sx, especially since it's wide body, allowing larger rims, good for show. It is a bit pricey, but it's definately worth it . .if you have the money and your done with the engine part of your project.

Not to mention . .the body kit is full functional and purpose full. It has brake vents, a lot of space for air to flow in and out to cool al vital parts.. its not just made to look good .. it's functional!!!

:rolleyes

SilviaLuvr, now that we have found clarity about body kits, let us drink to stealthy 240's and mild body mods. :bearchug

I found a solution so you guys can rest easy. jtautostyles in california makes cutom body kis, you have to take ur car in to them and show them pics of the body kit you want and they faricate it for you. I called them up and they said they couldreplicate the agasthiya wide body kit for me.

1800 for figer glassand 2800 for sheet metal.

haha, but yea . .i think u eat crap mainevent....

The Jacquemond kit is nice, but it defies the origin of the 240's. It makes it look like a ferrarri or an nsx . .something that the 240 defiately wasn't meant to look like. I would get it, but it's just wide . .not necessarily agressive . .I'm looking for agressive and functional.

why do you care about functional? how about you make your CAR functional first...like road worthy...then u can worry about functional brake ducts...i have no doubt in my mind that those ducts will be fanning stock rotors anyways...:D

I like that kit, It kind of reminds me of the C-West S14 race car. I think a car that looks cool can be as much fun to drive as a car that can go fast. Its all personal preference. Many of the people who purchase ferraris and lambos and porsche etc. dont buy them because of the mechanical capabilities of the car, they buy them because of the image, and the lifestyle people assume they lead owning said cars. How is that different than changing the cosmetics of your car because you want people to see it as a more aggressive or exotic car? Given a choice some people would drive a 600HP geo metro and some would drive a 150HP ferrari neither is the worse choice, its all personal preference. So stop trashing on someone just because they want to buy a body kit that is a little outrageous without putting as much money into their engine.
