You'd have to cut out a section of that pipe and use some hose connectors to put your MAF there.

You need: a hacksaw, a file, two silicon hose connectors of whatever diameter you need, 4 screwclamps or T-bolts

What brand is that CAI?

Why not just get one that's designed for an 04?

Someone around has a NISMO CAI from a Spec converted to work with a 1.8. I think it was relatively painless. That kind of seems like a simpler option.

Winston I have that 1.8 It's easy and everything fits alls you need is a MAF adapter which you can get at Autozone....etc. Thats all.

I don't know why they don't sell it, alls I know is the NISMO intake for a Spec V works. Think about it this way all B15's are the same, minus motors and trannies. Everything is in the same place so it's easy to use a intake off another car and just get an adapter for the MAF.

Yes there is a opening on the piping for the valve cover breather. Look at the pics.

You get what you pay for, I'd go with NISMO if I was you. The adapter I had I had to modify so the holes would work. Just drill them out. DIY FTW! Like I said just use the one and modify it so the bolts work. It's really not that complicated.

Maybe, as for the adapter I've had it forever and I'm not quite sure where I got it, but like I said the mounting holes had to be drilled out so it'd bolt up with the MAF. Good luck.
