i don't know about all you versa fans but i work a hard day grab a cocktail and go see what's new on the versa forum. maybe some versa photos. people actually praising a car that i researched hard to make sure i bought the best car for the littlest dough. so what do i see on a weekly basis on our beloved forum, a story about a honda or pictures or versa owners who are switching to the honda brand. my feeling about unhappy versa owners is that they should just leave.........period. i have had nothing but praise for this car. has to be the best riding subcompact ever made not kidding. how many times have versa owners test drove a fit or whatever and are so happy they chose a versa...............how many times............i can't count that high............................ you all did your research.........you all stared at the ceiling at night wondering if you made the right decision with the versa....i never did because i knew that i couldn't buy a car other than a versa for that money. a car that had so much to offer. so for really............please all you honda lovers and versa haters.................just go away.

Amen to that!! I tend to agree with what you said. I can see the value in comparing the two, but when it comes down to it, once you buy a versa, we should stick to the versa! I too spent many nights wondering between the fit and the versa, and to be honest, the fit was a bit too "fit" for me. I love my versa. Enough said!

Hey what's up? I was the one guy who helped you out with your signature! I thought you went away or something. How have you been?

Oh, and have you done any mods to your V yet?

No one has a gun to your head, forcing you to read what's in those topics. Just ignore them.

hey, yeah! finally my signature works! Haha. I guess I'm kinda bad about checking in on NICO. I'm still new to the whole car owners thing! Um...yeah not much has changed to my versa, my next big thing is figuring out what GPS to buy because I need it for moving to California (which you've already commented on in my other post). I must say, I'm very intrigued by the interior lighting. Actually, I am thinking about putting flood lights in...any suggestions?

Grogman.....

First of all, you are on the fockin internet. Millions of users, millions of different opinions. Don't get your panties in a bunch.

You know what? I am personally sick of the threads of people bitching and crying about all the negatively oriented posts.

How about doing a little work for yourself first. Follow these simple steps;

- Negatively oriented threads usually have a negative title.- Read thread title, if negative do not enter!!!! Please take note that some threads may contain negative material.

In example: in a thread titled:How reliable are Versa's?...You may find negative inputs or even different opinions than yours!!!!If that doesn't quite work out, get your mommy to read the threads before you.

all i am saying is that honda praisers should hit the honda forums. there is no place for honda apologists on the versa forum..........maybe we should bombard the honda forums about how great our product is over their tin traps............gloat over cheaper made cars on their own forums. honda makes a great motor but the body disappears over time...............wonder how nissan would do in nascar.........anyone?

Alright, so maybe that's not what they are....I'm still new to the whole car owning thing, and couldn't tell you what's under my hood if I tried, i know it makes me sound like an idiot. Isn't that what you would put in the empty spot underneath your headlights? Feel free to correct me on any of the terminology or specifics of the car!

Fog, not Flood. Flood lights are on houses, fog lights are on cars.

Locking this. Calm down people, its the internetz.

I really think you misinterpret what people are saying or you are reading too much into comments. There are a lot of good cars out there and we all bought our Versa for good reasons. There were features on cars such as the Fit, Yaris, Focus that I liked better and there were features on the Versa I liked better. At the end of the day, the interior size of the Versa and the price point swung me that direction. However, I am not going to knock the Fit because I bought a Versa. Nor am I going to fully praise the Versa as the car does have some shortcomings. For our needs, the Versa was the right choice and still is. This forum is the place to discuss pros, cons, share ideas, share DIY tips, etc etc. There is absolutely nothing wrong with bringing any points to the table. I only take exception when people personally attack others by name calling. Like others have said, just move on past those threads that you have no interest in.

The flood lights you're talking about is actually the fog lights. You can get the kit online, but shop around for prices first. Either go on Versaspeed.com and see if they have any available. Another website to check out is courtesyparts.com, scroll down to the Versa section, click on it and they have most of the available accessories. Or try this link here...

You do realize though that most of us own more than one car and they're not all Nissans. There's many mixed breeds on these forums and I'm sure half the members here use the Versa for daily driving while they have their Honda/Toyota/Chevy/Ford and so on in the garage for the weekend.

Nothing bad about having some irregular comparisons and negativity sometimes...keeps these forums going well I think. Keeps everyone's panties in a bunch.
