All my parts are in, car going into shop on thurs or friday for1 - rebuild axels2- rear lower strut bushings (only origional left on car)3- r32 skyline differential swap

Need proper torque for input shaft into diff.

the FSM says 137-217 ft/lbs.....

I think about 170 ft lbs would be a nice middle ground... not sure what the R32 is.

thats what i thought, but didnt want james calling me up and saying i screwed his diff up (not that he'd do that!!! )

James - It's not as important as you're thinking. The R200 uses shims for the pinion bearing preload adjustment. Just crank it down to the midpoint of the factory rating and forget it
