So after much googling and searching of forums, I've decided to post this. There are thousands of different wheels out there, and looking up individual reviews is too daunting a task.

I'd like to try and get a list of wheels brands that meet or exceed OEM quality specifications, and which wheel brands are a good idea to avoid.

I thought it would be nice to have a thread dedicated to the actual quality of the brands, where the other thread is mostly just a picture thread. Granted, I am posting this for my own personal reference as well. (Trying to find a decent priced wheel with good quality)

I'll start off the list...

Meet/Exceed OEM QualityBBS WheelsVolk RacingTSW

I'm not sure on any brands to avoid.

To correct your list a little bid, here is my opinion:

VolkSSRTSW

Those are the top 3 IMO.

Avoid ADR and Stern like the plague!

i'm pretty sure they do, if u got the cash for it, just make sure the bolt pattern is 5x114.3 and the offset is within like +35 and +45 range and you're good

i got my Stern St1 yesterday. I took one of them out of the box and to my knowledge they seem well built and all around an average looking rim. I am not saying its something to brag about but i dont think it is as bad as people make it out to be. Or i could be wrong and will find out the hard way!!

*Knock on wood*

I've had my Stern ST-1's on my '06 Sedan and on my Coupe, maybe... 20K Miles and I've hit numerous pot holes and SO FAR no bent rims or flats.

Our stock alloys are made by Enkei. Too bad they weigh too much

Don't the stocks weigh like the high teens? That's pretty light.
