The bleed screw is likely your best location as you would want to see the temp just behind the t-stat as head temp is the hottest part of the system. in the block is too low as the coolant temp there is not as high since it is below the combustion area. in the rad hose you would have to much fluctuation between t-stat openings.justjuiceit4 wrote:I did some research and found that the T-fitting is not a good way to go with an aftermarket water temperature gauge.
