Well, since I needed this specific one (shorter than the average ones), I ended up spending like $30 on it. I don't have the time/means to get bungs welded. I needed an easy install. http://www.advancespeedshop.co....html

RB20's have a more straight rad hose, so the regular ones on ebay should do the trick. I see them going on ebay for like $10-15 I think.

Prosport gauges. No complaints here, no failures. I need to buy an oil pressure sensor for my oil gauge though.

Thanks, I'll be ordering one of these as well with the rest of my sensors. Too bad I can't find it on Summit (I already found the one you linked me to), but I was trying to not have to pay shipping twice. Oh well.

You basically cut the upper radiator hose, and put this in between with hoseclamps? Got any pics of install before I go hacking up some expensive hoses? haha..

Yeah, it should come with 2 hose clamps. And yeah, take off hose, measure width of the adapter, cut from hose, clamp in place, put back on radiator and engine.

I did a temp/hack job, outside at night

I did the same, on my RB25 for a quick fix...

Rotate yours down so you hide the wires and sensor.

Will do. I was scared it'd leak. Thanks.

cool, thanks for the image.

I have these gauges:

they are Auto meter Pro-Comp Auto-Lites.

Water: http://store.summitracing.com/...w=sku

(Oil: http://store.summitracing.com/...w=sku)

And also, is a Coolant temp. sensor going to be universal regardless of the gauge? I mean it's just a thermometer sending out an electronic reading...I can't find one to match up with my gauge specifically and was wondering if any one would just work. I found a few on Summit Racing that look like they'll do fine. What size is the thread for the STRI Adapter?

ok...reviving an old thread and hoping someone can help. i have an rb25 with a greddy manifold. i am trying to put my defi water temp sensor in but need to know some sizing. I am running a custom cluster so the oem single wire sensor is useless (not that it was very helpful before). anyway i kept reading about people just pulling the old and putting the new one in. well...half way through taking mine out i realized the threads were different. larger than the 1/8 sensor i am trying to put in it's place. does anyone know what the thread pitch on the oem single wire sensor is so i can get an adapter?

Robbie,
I'm thinking 0.8 pitch, but I would have to check tonight.

*edit*
OEM Single-wire pitch: 1.0, diameter 10 or 11mm.
