Aftermarket throttle body for SR20DET?

Does anyone make an aftermarket throttle body for the SR20? I just got my engine in, all the main stuff is installed, but it has a bent throttle body, it wont close all the way. Jeff at Heavy Throttle said that they would fix it for free, but I was wondering why no upgrade it while I'm at it.

Any input greatly appreciated.

i put my S14 KA tb on my Sr20. the TPS is different and they won't switch out so there's a little work there with the wiring. also the throttle cable bracket is different so you need to make one.

Zaxx,

Most people upgrade to the Z32 MAF. Although it's not aftermarket, it seems to handle the power levels that the majority of people are making with their SR20s. Go ahead and do a search on it (the RED button on the upper right hand corner of all the pages).

So for the KA throttle body from S14 on to a S13 with a Greddy manifold, what do you think I need to do to make the throttle cable pulley work?I find it hard to believe that no one makes a aftermarket TB fo rthe SR20DET-James

SPL Parts is a good friend of mine. His name is Kuah and he is very helpful. I'd suggest the Tomei unit.

Wow, that really looks like a good quality piece. Does anybody have any experience with the Tomei TB? If so please let me know.
